Rebekah James, MHS, PA-C, joined Southwest Internal Medicine in October of 2008. Originally from Minneapolis, MN, she has lived in Central Florida since the year 2000. She received her undergraduate degree form the University of Wisconsin-River Falls, majoring in Psychology. She also attended UCF to complete her prerequisites for admission to physician Assistant school. She then attended the Drexel University Physician Assistant Program in Philadelphia, Where in August of 2008, she received her Masters of Health Sciences degree. She graduated with class honors and was an active member in both academic and community programs, including community outreach and educational programs. Her graduate studies and research focused on obesity prevention and treatment.
